JBC Launches New Face Shield Product Line

BC Technologies recently announced the launch of its Tech-SHIELD face shield line.  The adult and youth sized shields are both made in the USA in JBC’ s Lorain County, Ohio facility.

According to an editorial in the Journal of the American Medical Association, face shields reduce viral exposure 96% when worn within 18 inches of a cough and 92% at social distances of 6 feet. The same statistic is cited in this Today Show video clip. The story also highlights the fact that it is easier to talk, easier to breathe and, in general, more comfortable to wear a face shield than it is a mask.
